Africa is the second largest continent in the world by both land and population.
There are 54 countries located in Africa and two states whose independence is disputed (Western Sahara and Somaliland)
The largest cities in Africa are Lagos (Nigeria) and Cairo (Egypt) both with populations surpassing 20 million.
Africa is also home to The Nile, the longest river in the world of which I have had the pleasure to sail upon more than once.
